Debbie Forman, C.Sc.D., CCC-SLP
Dr. Forman is an adjunct professor at Maryville University (St. Louis) and the University of Central Florida, teaching language science, development, and disorders, and supervising graduate clinicians. Previously, she served four years as an Assistant Professor of Practice at Texas A&M University–Kingsville, teaching across the CSD curriculum at the undergrad and graduate levels, supervising on-site and teletherapy clinics, and supporting NSSLHA, graduate admissions, and externship oversight.
Before academia, Dr. Forman spent 13 years in clinical practice, including service as Director of Rehabilitation, working with geriatrics and Pre-K–8 students. She earned her Clinical Doctorate in Speech Pathology from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in 2018. Dr. Forman's teaching blends real-world clinical experience with evidence-based practice and practical, clinic-ready application.
